Setting Up Your AI Team
Complete guide to configuring your AI Team — from selecting the right bots for your goals to fine-tuning platform settings, scheduling cycles, and activating your team.
Team Configuration Basics
Your AI Team's effectiveness starts with good configuration. This tutorial walks you through every setting in detail so you can build a team tailored to your marketing needs.
There are three core elements to configure: your brand foundation (social accounts + products), your bot selection, and your team settings (automation level, scheduling, credits).
Before starting, make sure your brand profile is complete — especially your brand voice, target audience, and content pillars. The Orchestrator uses this context to generate better strategies.
Selecting Your Bots
Audenci offers 13 specialized AI bots, each handling a different marketing function. Understanding what each bot does helps you build the right team for your goals.
Content Creation Bots
- Content Gen — Your primary content creator. Generates original posts, threads, carousels, and reels for your selected platforms. Adapts to your brand voice and content pillars.
- AI Clone — Analyzes viral content from TikTok and other platforms, then creates original versions adapted for your brand. Great for riding trends without copying.
- SEO & Blog — Researches keywords, generates blog posts, and tracks search rankings. Creates long-form content optimized for search engines.
Engagement Bots
- AI Comment — Monitors comments on your posts and relevant threads, then drafts thoughtful replies. All responses go through review before posting.
- Auto DM — Sends personalized direct messages to prospects, new followers, or engagement targets. Uses lead scoring signals to prioritize outreach.
- Follow-Up — Manages automated follow-up sequences via email to nurture leads through your funnel.
Growth & Outreach Bots
- Ad Campaign — Creates ad copy, selects targeting parameters, and monitors campaign performance. Suggests budget adjustments based on ROI data.
- Influencer — Discovers relevant creators in your niche, manages outreach, and tracks collaboration results.
- Lead Scoring — Evaluates social interactions to identify and score potential customers. Feeds signals to DM and Follow-Up bots for prioritized outreach.
Intelligence Bots
- Trend Discovery — Monitors trending topics, hashtags, and conversations relevant to your industry. Sends signals to content bots when opportunities arise.
- Social Listening — Tracks brand mentions, competitor activity, and industry sentiment across platforms. Provides competitive intelligence reports.
- Retention — Analyzes customer engagement patterns, predicts churn risk, and suggests re-engagement strategies.
- Performance (always included) — Monitors all marketing metrics, detects anomalies, and generates performance reports. This bot is always part of your team.
You can start with just a few bots and add more later. A good starting set for most businesses is: Content Gen + Trend Discovery + AI Comment + Performance.
Platform Selection
Each bot can operate on one or more social platforms. The available platforms depend on which social accounts you've connected. Currently supported platforms include:
- Twitter/X — Posts, threads, comments, DMs, and trend monitoring
- Instagram — Posts, reels, stories, comments, and DMs
- Facebook — Posts, comments, and ad campaigns
- LinkedIn — Professional content, articles, comments, and outreach
- TikTok — Video content and trend-based cloning
- Reddit — Content posting, comment engagement, and community monitoring
- YouTube — Video content publishing and engagement
- Pinterest, Bluesky, Threads, Google Business, Telegram — Additional platform support
Start with 1-2 platforms you're most active on. You can expand to additional platforms once you're comfortable with how the bots operate.
Scheduling and Cycle Intervals
The Orchestrator runs on a cycle-based system. Each cycle type has its own interval that controls how frequently it runs. You can customize these in the Team Settings step during onboarding, or later in the Settings tab.
- Strategy Cycle (default: 24 hours) — How often the AI plans high-level marketing strategy. Options: 12h, 24h, 48h
- Content Creation Cycle (default: 6 hours) — How often the AI generates new content pieces. Options: 2h, 6h, 12h, 24h
- Engagement Cycle (default: 1 hour) — How often the AI engages with comments and DMs. Options: 15min, 30min, 1h, 2h
- Review Cycle (default: 3 hours) — How often the AI reviews performance and adjusts. Options: 1h, 3h, 6h
- Optimization Cycle (default: 12 hours) — How often the AI runs experiments to improve performance. Options: 6h, 12h, 24h, 48h
- Supervision Cycle (default: 15 minutes) — How often the AI checks bot fleet health and restarts failed bots. Options: 10min, 15min, 30min, 1h
Shorter intervals mean more frequent activity and higher credit usage. Start with the defaults and adjust based on your needs and budget.
Bot-Specific Settings
During the Configure Bots step (Step 5 of onboarding), you can fine-tune each bot's behavior. While defaults work well for most users, here are key settings to consider:
- Content tone and style — Match your brand's voice (professional, casual, witty, etc.)
- Target topics — Specify subjects your content should focus on
- Engagement rules — Set boundaries for how bots interact (e.g., never discuss competitors, always be helpful)
- Platform-specific behavior — Different settings per platform (e.g., shorter posts for Twitter, longer for LinkedIn)
- Content frequency — How many pieces of content to generate per cycle
You can always update bot configurations after launch by going to the Bots tab in the AI Team side panel.
Saving and Activating
After reviewing everything in Step 7, click "Launch Your AI Team" to create and activate your team. The Orchestrator will immediately begin its first Strategy cycle.
Once active, you can manage your team from the Settings tab:
- Enabled toggle — When disabled, no cycles will run. Toggle on to resume operations
- Max Credits Per Day — Adjust your daily budget limit (range: 1-10,000)
- Cycle Intervals — Change how frequently each of the six cycle types runs
- Team Name and Description — Update your team's identity and avatar color
- Marketing Goals — Choose from: Brand Awareness, Lead Generation, Audience Engagement, Content Creation, Drive Sales, Community Building
Disabling your team pauses all automated cycles but preserves all settings, history, and bot configurations. Re-enable anytime to resume operations.
