Advanced Calendar Features
Master drag-and-drop scheduling, bulk operations, calendar views, and time optimization for efficient content planning.
Calendar Views
The calendar offers four view modes: Month View (30-day overview), Week View (7-day detailed view), Day View (hourly breakdown), Agenda View (list of all scheduled posts). Switch views with the view selector in the top right.
Month View
Month View shows: All posts for the month as colored dots, Multiple posts per day stacked, Day numbers and weekday labels, Today highlighted. Perfect for high-level planning and spotting gaps in your content calendar.
Use Month View to ensure even content distribution across the month and identify heavy/light posting days.
Week View
Week View shows: 7-day grid with hourly slots, Post cards with thumbnails and captions, Time slots for precise scheduling, Drag-and-drop between days. Ideal for detailed planning and timing optimization.
Day View
Day View shows: 24-hour timeline for a single day, All posts scheduled for that day, Exact timing for each post, Time gaps between posts. Use for fine-tuning posting schedules and avoiding time conflicts.
Agenda View
Agenda View shows: Chronological list of all scheduled posts, Post details, thumbnails, and status, Date and time for each post, Filter and sort options. Perfect for reviewing upcoming content and checking post details.
Drag-and-Drop Scheduling
Reschedule posts by dragging them to different dates/times. The calendar automatically: Updates scheduledFor timestamp, Maintains post status (SCHEDULED), Saves changes immediately, Shows visual feedback during drag.
Drag-and-drop works in Month, Week, and Day views. Hold Shift to copy instead of move (coming soon).
Creating Posts from Calendar
Click any date/time slot to create a post scheduled for that time. The post editor opens with: scheduledFor pre-filled, Platform selected (if filtered), All other fields blank for you to fill. Save as draft or schedule immediately.
Quick Actions
Hover over posts in calendar to see quick actions: Edit post, Duplicate post, Change status, Delete post, View analytics (for published posts). Quick actions save clicks for common tasks.
Bulk Operations
Select multiple posts with checkboxes to perform bulk operations: Change status (move all to IN_REVIEW), Assign to campaign, Change category or pillar, Reschedule by offset (move all posts +1 day), Delete all. Saves time when managing multiple posts.
Use bulk operations when you need to reschedule an entire week due to events or changes in strategy.
Time Slots & Conflicts
The calendar highlights: Time slots with posts, Overlapping posts (multiple posts at same time), Optimal posting times (based on analytics). Avoid scheduling too many posts at once - space them 2-4 hours apart for better reach.
Platform Filtering
Filter calendar by platform to see only: Instagram posts, Facebook posts, Twitter posts, Multi-platform posts. This helps you: Balance content across platforms, Identify platform gaps, Plan platform-specific campaigns.
Status Filtering
Filter by status to show only: Scheduled posts (ready to publish), Draft posts (work in progress), In Review posts (awaiting approval), Published posts (already live). Combine with date range for powerful reporting.
