Social Account Settings & Voice
Configure account-specific settings including voice, tone, audience, strategy, and brand guidelines for consistent, on-brand content.
Account Settings Overview
Social Account Settings let you configure account-specific preferences for content generation, scheduling, and engagement. Each connected account can have custom voice, audience, strategy, and brand guidelines.
Accessing Account Settings
To configure account settings: Go to Social Accounts, Click account card, Click 'Settings' tab or three-dot menu, Configure sections and save. Settings are saved per account and used by AI for content generation.
Voice & Tone
Define your account's voice with 8 tone options: Formal (professional, corporate), Casual (friendly, conversational), Humorous (funny, witty), Inspirational (motivating, uplifting), Educational (informative, clear), Provocative (bold, controversial), Empathetic (caring, understanding), Authoritative (expert, confident).
Choose 1-2 primary tones that reflect your brand personality. AI uses these to generate on-brand captions.
Emoji Usage
Set emoji usage level: None (no emojis), Light (1-2 emojis), Moderate (3-5 emojis), Heavy (6+ emojis), Strategic (emojis only for emphasis). AI respects your preference when generating captions.
Caption Length Preferences
Specify preferred caption length: Short (1-2 sentences), Medium (3-5 sentences), Long (6+ sentences, storytelling). Combined with platform limits, this ensures captions match your style and platform best practices.
Engagement Configuration
Configure engagement preferences: Reply tone (professional, friendly, playful), Comment type priorities (questions, compliments, complaints, suggestions, mentions), Response time expectations (within 1 hour, 24 hours, etc.), Auto-reply settings (coming soon).
Audience Demographics
Define your target audience: Age ranges (18-24, 25-34, 35-44, etc.), Geographic locations (countries, cities), Gender split (%, all genders), Primary interests, Spoken languages. AI uses this to tailor content relevance and messaging.
Accurate audience data improves AI content generation quality. Update quarterly based on analytics.
Content Strategy
Configure content strategy settings: Account pillars (3-5 strategic themes), Posts per week target, Preferred posting days and times, Hashtag strategy (placement, quantity), Blackout dates (dates to avoid posting).
Hashtag Strategy
Define hashtag preferences: Placement (end of caption, inline, first comment), Quantity (0-30 hashtags), Mix strategy (branded, trending, niche), Forbidden hashtags (never use these). AI follows your strategy when generating hashtags.
For Instagram, use 20-30 hashtags in first comment for maximum reach without cluttering captions.
Brand Guidelines
Document brand guidelines: Color palette (hex codes), Fonts (primary, secondary), Image style preferences (minimal, vibrant, professional, artistic, raw), Approved topics (what to post about), Restricted topics (what to avoid), Legal disclaimers (required disclosures).
Account Media Library
Upload account-specific media organized by 7 categories: Profile (logos, profile photos), Brand Asset (brand elements), Product (product photos), Team (team photos), Event (event coverage), Template (branded templates), Other (miscellaneous).
Peak Posting Times
Configure or learn peak posting times: Manual configuration (set preferred times), Auto-learn from analytics (AI analyzes best times), Suggested times based on audience. AI Content Planning uses peak times for optimal scheduling.
Performance Analysis Settings
Enable AI-powered analysis: Content analysis (what's working), Engagement velocity (how fast engagement happens), Timing analysis (best posting times), Competitor benchmarking (coming soon). AI Insights tab uses these settings for recommendations.
Settings Completeness Score
Audenci calculates a completeness score based on: Description (15%), Voice/Tone (15%), Demographics (15%), Pillars (15%), Hashtag Strategy (10%), Guidelines (10%), Media Library (10%), Peak Hours (10%). Higher scores = better AI content quality.
Aim for 80%+ completeness for optimal AI performance. Focus on high-weight sections first.
